Overall a good show. Eugene was great, I especially enejoyd the video he made for the comedian exchange program. John Mulaney was the best performance of the night imo. David Cross was also really funny, but his last joke fool me 10 times was not that great, and not the best way to end a set. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen Michael Showalter a few times, but I’m a bit tired of hearing him read to the audience from various books. Even at it’s good parts it’s only moderately funny. Jon Glaser used the same jokes he’s used the other few times I’ve seen him. Seems kind of lazy to me considering this was the 3rd anniversary show. School of Rock was pretty weird and sort of made me sick of all the MJ morning.
I agree, Mulaney killed it. The guy is aaylws great every time I see him. Eugene and Larry’s Daniel Plainview bit was also hilarious. Oliver was pretty good too, in fact that was probably my favorite set I’ve seen him do.
